National 4-H Council- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Content Specialist  Applications due by October 29, 2025. National 4-H Council (Council) is proud to collaborate on the development and enhancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the 4-H program and the Beyond Ready initiative. Artificial Intelligence is opening new doors for 4-H youth to explore the future of technology, problem-solving, and innovation. Through hands-on projects and interactive learning experiences, young people are not only discovering how AI works but also how it can be applied to create meaningful solutions in their communities. The AI Content Specialist will convene Cooperative Extension’s efforts related to the Presidential AI Challenge by facilitating an overarching AI engagement strategy that builds cohesion and focuses on collaboration with the system. This includes supporting entries to the President’s AI Challenge, encouraging the development of resources to support ongoing AI programming, and convening conversations around AI integration within 4-H for youth, educators, and volunteers.LGUs are eligible to apply for one subgrant award up to $100,000.

Please note that registration approval is not an immediate process, and only takes place during normal business hours, Monday–Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1:30pm (eastern standard time). 

Applications for funding are only accepted from 4-H/Extension professionals and state level Extension 4-H/Youth Development Program Leaders or LGU Administrators. Please only register for a WebGrants account if you are a 4-H/extension professional or with a LGU.

All applicants MUST inform their State Leader of an application submission prior to submitting an application for funding.

State Leader approval consists of forwarding an automatically generated email that is sent to the State Leader after an application is submitted.
