Altria – Health Rocks! 2025 Applications due by June 2nd. This competitive sub-grant opportunity is only open to Cooperative Extension 4-H programs within LGUs. The Request for Applications (RFA) is open to LGUs (or 4-H Foundations upon request). Priority will be given to those who are currently operating Health Rocks! programming: Colorado State University, University of Georgia, University of Illinois, University of Kentucky, Louisianna State University, Alcorn State University, North Carolina State University, University of Nevada, Pennsylvania State University, University of Tennessee, Virginia Tech University, and West Virginia University.
Healthy Habits: Food Loss & Waste Implementation Subgrants- Cohort 2 Applications due by June 16. National 4-H Council (Council) is proud to collaborate with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) on the project Increasing Food Production & Combating Food Waste and Loss through 4-H (FASLP FLW) to prepare youth with going Beyond Ready; helping kids find their spark, build real-world skills and become resilient, adaptable, lifelong learners. This competitive sub-grant opportunity is open to all LGUs.
Beyond Ready 1890s Lead Advisor Applications due by June 23rd. National 4-H Council (Council) is proud to collaborate with W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) to support a Beyond Ready 1890s Lead Advisor. This position will provide planning, programming, and coordination support to the 19 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the 4-H Extension system. The Lead Advisor will provide trainings and mentorship to 1890s, ensure participation in the Beyond Ready initiatives, and act as liaison between the 1890 region and other stakeholders, including Program Leaders Working Group (PLWG) and Council. The goal of this position is to boost overall capacity within the 1890 region. This competitive sub-grant is open to all 1890 LGUs.
Beyond Ready Planning Grants Applications due by July 1st. National 4-H Council (Council) is proud to collaborate with Lilly Endowment Inc. to provide dedicated Beyond Ready program planning grants. This funding is part of Lilly Endowment’s Character Development through their Youth Programs initiative, which supports organizations focused on cultivating positive traits in young people across the nation.This competitive sub-grant opportunity is open to all LGUs/Foundations.
Please note that registration approval is not an immediate process, and only takes place during normal business hours, Monday–Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1:30pm (eastern standard time).
Applications for funding are only accepted from 4-H/Extension professionals and state level Extension 4-H/Youth Development Program Leaders or LGU Administrators. Please only register for a WebGrants account if you are a 4-H/extension professional or with a LGU.
